What are the major advantages of paintless dent removal?Paintless dent removal (PDR) preserves your vehicle's factory paint, which is its original and best-quality finish. Unlike traditional methods that involve sanding, filler, or painting, PDR is faster and more cost-effective. It allows us to restore original parts rather than replacing and painting new ones, maintaining the integrity and value of your vehicle.
-
Am I required to use the repair shop that my insurance company recommends?Absolutely not. By law, you have the right to choose where your vehicle is repaired. Unfortunately, some insurance companies still engage in questionable practices like "steering". This practice allows them to cut costs on repairs. If you opt to use a "preferred shop" recommended by your insurance company, you may be required to pay your deductible because these shops are contractually bound to the insurance company's pricing agreements.

What if I have already filed an auto hail repair claim and received an estimate from my insurance company?Even if you have already filed a claim and received an initial estimate for hail damage from your insurance company, it is crucial to contact Denver Family Dent at (970) 325 - 8201 or submit an online request for a supplementary hail damage inspection. Insurance adjusters often aim to minimize the claim amount and may conduct evaluations under suboptimal conditions, such as in bright sunlight or on dirty vehicles, potentially missing some damage. At Denver Family Dent, we thoroughly clean your vehicle and bring it into our secure facility in Fort Collins for a detailed inspection. Using specialized lighting, we meticulously examine your car to identify all hail damage, including dents and dings that might be overlooked during a standard evaluation. We then create a comprehensive repair plan using advanced dent repair software tailored for hail damage. We coordinate directly with your insurance company's adjuster to schedule a supplemental inspection at our secure facility. During this inspection, we ensure that all damage is documented and advocate on your behalf to secure the best possible claim.
-
What if Denver Family Dent's evaluation is higher than my insurance company's evaluation? Not to worry; this is quite common! Insurance companies often provide an initial low estimate for hail damage repairs because they perform cursory inspections and have no incentive to offer a thorough evaluation. However, your comprehensive auto policy will cover 100% of the hail damage, and we will advocate for you to get the best claim possible. Auto hail damage assessments can be subjective, and insurers tend to aim low. At Denver Family Dent, we are skilled in negotiating with insurance companies to ensure your hail-damaged vehicle is restored to its pre-damage condition using our paintless dent removal process.
-
What if I am still making payments on my vehicle with hail damage?Your insurance company will handle the claim check in one of two ways: either issuing it to both you and your lienholder, or to you and your hail repair facility. Your lienholder will require proof that all hail damage repairs have been completed before endorsing the insurance check. Typically, insurance companies will reissue the check in both your name and the repair shop’s name, which simplifies the procedure and avoids the need to deal with your lienholder directly. Most of our clients find this method more convenient.
-
Do I have to worry about the dents or Hail damage ever coming back?Once we use paintless dent removal (PDR) to restore your vehicle's original shape, the hail dents and dings will not reappear. Plus, our PDR services include a Lifetime Hail Damage Warranty for your peace of mind.
-
Will paintless dent removal decrease the value of my vehicle? No, paintless dent removal (PDR) does not require any painting and will not disturb your vehicle's factory paint. This means that after we fix the hail damage on your vehicle, it will retain its original, best-quality finish.
